The goal of this game is for the students (fish) to run across the width of the gym without being tagged by the “shark” in the middle. All students line up on one side of the gym, while 1-2 students stand in the middle as the sharks. When the sharks yell “Shark Tank!” all students must try to run to the opposite side of the gym without being tagged by the sharks. If a student gets tagged by a shark, they must sit on their bums on the floor and become seaweed. Students who are seaweed may also tag the runners to help the sharks, but the seaweed must remain planted in the ground (they cannot stand up or go on their knees). When 1-2 students are left at the end, they become the sharks for the next round and a new game commences.
