Capture the Flag and Tennis Ball Triumph are similar games, in that they both require two teams of students defending their own respective sides of the field or gym. However, with Capture the Flag, the goal of the game is to retrieve the other team's flags (or objects of any sort) and bring them back to your own side. The game ends when one team successfully brings all of the other team's objects back to their own side. If a person is running on the attack and they are tagged by a defender, the tagged person must sit down where they were tagged and wait to be rescued by one of their own teammates. If saved, the tagged person and the saver must walk back to their side hand-in-hand to ensure everyone is aware they are safe until they make it back.When a person has made it to the "safe area" containing the other teams' objects, they are safe and cannot be tagged for a maximum of 1 minute (less time if the game is smaller) as long as they have one foot placed in the safe area.
